Winemaking Notes

The 2024 Olema Cabernet Sauvignon opens with an expressive nose of blackberry, dark fruits, and blueberry compote. On the palate, a lush, rich texture is lifted by great acidity and structure, showcasing high-toned red fruits layered with notes of Herbes de Provence and baker’s chocolate. A beautiful cab with blackberries, black currants and hints of graphite. Medium-bodied and savory, crunchy and racy, with light, velvety tannins. Terrific. Drink now.

Wow, so fresh, flavorful and drinkable despite intense concentration and moderate to full tannins. A great value and very well balanced. Sourced from very good sites on Moon Mountain, Sonoma Mountain and Dry Creek Valley. Blended with 12% malbec. Drink now.

Polished but bold and textured, this deeply flavored wine offers black cherry, blueberry and raspberry accents, along with spicy, savory elements from small amounts of malbec, petite sirah and merlot. Moderate tannins lend a light snap to the texture.
