2022 Olema Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc bottle

Sauvignon Blanc

A wine that encompasses freshness from start to finish, the 2021 Olema Sauvignon Blanc displays aromas of gooseberry and kumquat followed by notes of crab apple and jasmine on the palate. Citrus and lemon curd flavors create a mouth- tingling acidity that carries through the long, zippy finish.

Vintage Notes

The 2022 vintage in France’s northwestern wine country began with a relatively cool, dry winter. Budburst occurred several weeks earlier than typical, along with flowering as late spring quickly warmed up. After some June rain, a hot summer kept the grapes ripening steadily up until the early harvest. White wines from 2022 have a refreshing citrus zing along with a strong mineral streak.
